Hi!

My name is Kalu, and I’m an interior design graduate with a passion for materials, furniture, and sustainable design. In my current role, I manage over 30 custom upholstery and soft furnishings projects for interior designers — overseeing timelines, coordinating materials, ensuring quality, and maintaining clear communication from concept to delivery. My career goal is to become an interior designer and sustainability specialist, a path that led me to pursue an M.S. in Sustainable Design at Thomas Jefferson University.

During my internships at Augusta Hoffman Studio and Lindsay Walsh Interior Design, I supported senior designers on residential projects by producing CAD drawings, sourcing materials, finishes, and FF&E, and preparing polished presentations and project binders.

I bring strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills to every project, grounded in professionalism, ethics, and adaptability. If you’d like to collaborate or discuss opportunities, you can reach me at kalulihj@gmail.com!
